While the data you can protect with a Digital Inheritance Plan is the same as with a Data Backup Plan, the approach is different.

With a Digital Inheritance Plan, you take a more passive role, entrusting your heirs with the management and access of the data when the time comes. The Merge Authority, designated by you, initiates the process of accessing the data, but approvals rely on your inactivity, triggered by a Dead Man Switch, rather than active decisions.

This ensures that your digital assets are securely transferred to the right people, at the right time, without requiring your direct involvement.

To create a secure and reliable inheritance plan with Inheriti®, you’ll need to set up a SafeID account, select your trusted heirs, and choose the appropriate storage devices for them.
